What is The Future is Plant-Based?
What you choose to eat is one of the easiest and least expensive ways you can reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The food system is responsible for at least 1/4 of all greenhouse gas emissions contributing to climate change and animal agriculture is a leading cause of deforestation, air pollution, water degradation and global biodiversity loss. The Future is Plant-Based is a multi-year plan launched in September of 2022 that aims to harness the power of plants to address climate change and inequality through product and social impact innovation.

What is PlantCore™?
PlantCore™ is a series of plant-based polymers made with corn starch, canola oil, and castor beans. PlantCore™ is used in our new cases as well as our grips, giving consumers a better option for a better planet.

As part of our carbon certification plan we have partnered with innovative climate solutions offset providers Farmlink and Climate ReFarm to provide a new and exciting kind of food waste diversion carbon credit, and with employee benefits company Plants + Perks, a plant-centric health and wellness portal that allows PopSockets employees the opportunity to explore how more plant-based lifestyles can help them live in a way that is better for both people and the planet.

Certifications
PopSockets became Climate Neutral certified at a company level in August 2020 and has received SCS Carbon Neutral certifications at a product level that cover 90% of products including PlantCore grips and cases.
